The Finite Room: The Ruined Stretch - Abstract Cyclist - 01/25 Limited Edition Fine Art Print
The Ruined Stretch portrays a cyclist folded low over the handlebars, rider and bicycle splintering into fractured shapes against a weathered grey surface. The racing posture remains unmistakable, even as the wheels dissolve into broken circles and fragments of ivory, charcoal, and tarnished gold seem to scatter with the motion.
Scratched textures, interrupted lines, and partially erased forms create a striking tension between athletic precision and physical deterioration. The cyclist maintains a powerful forward presence, while the painting itself appears barely able to hold the figure together.
Part of The Finite Room, The Ruined Stretch explores the fragile boundary between movement and disintegration.
