Daughters of Ivory: The Quiet Order is a two-piece fine art print set from Averyville Art Studio, pairing I: The Witnesses and II: The Interval.

Against a pale field of cracked, weathered plaster, two elongated, faceless women stand in ivory Western attire beneath broad white hats. Tailored trousers, fitted waists, and flowing outer garments create severe vertical silhouettes, softened by deteriorating fabric edges, trailing cloth, and faint traces of earth. The nearly monochrome palette gives the figures a ceremonial stillness, as though they belong to a ritual whose meaning has long been forgotten.

In The Witnesses, the women face one another beneath nearly touching hat brims. Their mirrored postures create an intimate but restrained encounter, suggesting a shared understanding that requires neither words nor gestures. Whatever passes between them remains private.

In The Interval, the women stand nearly back-to-back, their faces turned toward opposite horizons. Their physical closeness contrasts with the separation implied by their opposing directions. What appeared united in the first panel becomes uncertain in the second, leaving the nature of their connection unresolved.

This is the palest branch of the Daughters series, but not the gentlest. Its character comes from bone-white fabric, weathered walls, disciplined posture, and a desert-chapel severity that keeps the beauty from becoming decorative. The restrained palette allows subtle differences in texture, silhouette, and orientation to carry the emotional weight.

Presented with a restrained museum-style border system and understated studio text, this set is intended as a refined pair for collectors drawn to quiet authority, desert-chapel tones, and contemporary figurative Western art.

Sold only as a matched set, the two works are designed as a diptych and intended to hang together.
